Did you know that most people (some say as many as 80%!) FAIL at whatever weight loss program or lifestyle change they embark upon in a short, three weeks? I’ve observed this failure isn’t because the plan they chose wasn’t necessarily ineffective (although it could be), but because they lacked SUPPORT! Think about how much having accountability inspires you at work, at school or in accomplishing general tasks at home. Why would you forgo support for the MOST IMPORTANT and HARDEST task you face….HEALTHY WEIGHT and HEALTHY LIVING?
I have worked in healthcare for nearly fifteen years, primarily in the fields of nutrition and medical sales. Having served fine Medical and Naturopathic Doctors, I have observed nutrition as it relates to Non-Alcoholic Steatohepatitis (NASH), dietary measures for endocrine disorders, cardiovascular disease and high blood pressure, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and the benefit of restoring the integrity of the gut. The unifying factor in all these is summed up in one word: Inflammation.
And so, my main goal of educating others about wellness is to introduce an anti-inflammatory way of life. This is “an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure approach.” An anti-inflammatory lifestyle may include consideration of food sensitivity testing, exercise and sleep modifications, supporting the body’s detoxification processes and dietary supplementation. My particular areas of interest in helping others center around gut health and coping with fatigue, candida overgrowth and thyroid disease. I believe that a healthy body will not be inflamed or overweight. I also believe you have what it takes to learn the tools to overcome whatever’s preventing you from reaching your health goals! God has given us everything we need pertaining to vibrant living!
